Brunch at Werkstatt in Ditmas Park

It’s been a while since I made pictures and posted anything here. So now I’m trying to get back into the routing of posting more, because I feel again surprised and amazed by New York.

Two months ago I moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn and now, after the moving dust settled down, I feel good walking around and seeing my new neighborhood and falling in love with it.

My way of falling in love with my neighborhood? Food of course!

So today - on Saturday when I don’t have classes or other appointments - I went for a long planned brunch to Werkstatt, an Austrian restaurant.

I knew that they serve great dinner, so I wanted to try the brunch and coffee out, and - can you believe it? I never had a mimosa in the first half of the day before.

The brunch was tasty and exactly as I anticipated. On my plate I got a Krainer wurst, some Rösti, cauliflower and arugula and also two eggs sunny side up.

For my, moving somewhere and feeling there at home starts with finding the places that I want to go to. So I feel that now I got one more here in Ditmas Park.

Here is my Saturday morning sun lit road, and my coming back home from the great brunch behind the lens :)
